Good thorough reviews, Perse. If I may ask, there could be some other use with the Classic Headgears pack aside from recreating previous iterations of Nightmare, as I myself personally like those Nightmare helmets and have found uses for them in creating knights, and I also do like that Iron Mask that used to be on Voldo in SCII. Hopefully, that Aculeus Suit will come back so Voldo's alien-esque tertiary costume from that game can be recreated in full. But still, the pack isn't completely useless. Also, please list MS Point prices for XBL customers. Not everybody here plays the game on the PS3, you know. If necessary, I can provide those prices. |

Thank you for this. I suggest adding a link to this on the website and additionally making a news article for it, so everyone can see/read it.

Thanks That's a matter of personal preferences though. I agree that the helms can be used for other thing, but that would make your character feels like Nightmare knock-off. Counting you, I remember there's only 1 other person who could utilize this helmet pack based on SC4 creation (TerminusEst13).Please do! I don't have a good reliable source on XBOX's DLC cost. I'd be honored But I don't know where to put the link though, under Community and Guidance perhaps?

Hmm, unfortunately the three pre-Cepheus Store DLC packs (the Female, Beast, and Trendy packs) I can't seem to get the prices of, as it doesn't show those after you've bought them. But I believe all three packs cost 160 MS Points, as that's been a common price, and a past article on those three DLC packs (that all came out last February) seems to confirm that. But all other Cepheus Store DLC packs I can confirm here in the store itself: = Cepheus Pack 1 = 1. Classic Headgears 1: 160 MS Points 2. SCV Character Equipment 1: 160 MS Points 3. Maid Costumes 1: 240 MS Points 4. Active Wear 1: 240 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 2 = 5. Ancient Armor 1: 160 MS Points 6. Modern Costumes 1: 240 MS Points 7. Tekken Costumes 1: 240 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 3 = 8. Headgears 1: 160 MS Points 9. Boy's Day Festival: 160 MS Points 10. Modern Costumes 2: 160 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 4 = 11. Hairstyles 1: 160 MS Points 12. Skeleton Costume 1: 80 MS Points 13. SCV Character Equipment 2: 160 MS Points 14. Active Wear 2: 160 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 5 = 15. Valkyrie Armor 1: 240 MS Points 16. Sexy Costumes 1: 240 MS Points 17. Headgears 2: 160 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 6 = 18. Bridal Costumes 1: 240 MS Points 19. Music Festival 1: 80 MS Points = Cepheus Pack 7 = 20. Tekken Costumes 2: 160 MS Points 21. Sexy Costumes 2: 240 MS Points 22. Classic Costumes 1: 240 MS Points Hot damn, I hadn't realized the Maid Costumes pack cost so much for so few parts, but at least the stuff in it looked pretty good. And it's a good thing I skipped the first Active Wear and first Modern Costumes packs, those were SO overpriced... And at least the Ancient Armor and Boy's Day Festival packs were relatively inexpensive, same with the Headgears packs for that matter. I'll be here next week to relay the prices of the next SCV Character Equipment pack and whatever packs the remaining content will be sorted into. Of course, I have my guesses as to how that'll be sorted: Cepheus Pack 8 DLC, coming 7/17/2012

Thanks, Link! Review updated to show MSP ![]() It would be a big relief if Cepheus 8 consists of all those items. I'd like to see 3-4 DLC per pack than just inexcusable 2 DLC like Cepheus 6. |

For future reference, 80MSP = $0.99 PSN, 160MSP = $1.99 PSN, 240MSP = $2.99 PSN. If there are any other digits, you can use this simple converter and subtract 1 cent: http://microsoftpointsconverter.com/ I wish Microsoft would ditch the MSP system already. It forces you to purchase more than you need and easily one of the worst things about Xbox 360/Xbox Live. Edited by C.T, Jul 13 2012, 02:08 AM.

They are the first DLC ever, they are available in all PSN. All items are colorable, unless I state otherwise. Check my review on Xiaoyu's top. |

Unlike the other DLCs you won't find these packs in the Cepheus Store of the game. You can find them in the PSN store instead (same goes for additional music, Dampierre and, of course, the Trendy Pack). |

But I like the MSP system. All I have to do to get points is buy the Points Cards and redeem points from the codes, and then use the points to buy stuff, just like on iTunes. Beats the shit out of having to use a Credit Card. |

Well, I'm complaining about using points and not fixed dollar currency. But the main problem I have is Microsoft only offering points in fixed amounts (i.e. $4.99 - 400MSP, $9.99 - 800MSP, etc.). The lowest amount you can purchase is 400MSP for $4.99. If you want to buy an item that's less than $4.99 or 400MSP, you have no choice but to purchase the 400MSP pack for $4.99 just to buy that item. Additionally, if you have less points in your account than what you want to purchase (even by 1 point), you would be forced to spend $4.99 for 400 just to buy that item. The leftover amount may not even be used ever again. It's just annoying and a shameless money making tactic. I don't mind them keeping points as long as they allow us to enter ANY amount of MSP we want to buy rather than from choosing from points packs. PSN allows you to buy anything you want directly for any amount and not worry about purchasing packs. The cards are good but they don't really have any effect in what makes MSP bad. They can change to the tactic I mentioned and still offer cards the same way they do now for those that uses them. Personally, I don't bother with cards because credit cards/PayPal is faster. Back to the topic though... Also tp Perse: You may want to note this review is strictly based upon creation of originals. I'm sure many people would find the skip/optional DLC sets actually preferable for cameos. Just a bit of suggestion. Edited by C.T, Jul 13 2012, 09:36 PM.

It's good to have leftover amounts, dude, because you never know what you might find later down the road that you'll want to invest in. And being I don't really have a credit card and really don't want to bother with getting one (or all the semantics involved with one for that matter), I'd prefer to stick with point cards, for convenience's sake. Back on topic: If I may, Perse, I might suggest basing your opinion on whether to buy or not in terms of part compatibility, being that that's a factor that does sometimes determine buyer interest, not to mention it frustrates those who try to make use of such items, only to find that they're a pain in the ass to work around. After all, people have many different tastes. Edited by Link, Jul 14 2012, 07:07 AM.
