Great job, lots of good new characters and a very reasonably timed update. :)

Here are some errors:
  • On Davik, there is no space between gender and male (i.e. Gender:Male).
  • User originals shows Spica with her 2nd costume and clicking on it brings it to the 2nd costume. Shouldn't it be 1st costume as default, not 2nd?
  • 1st costume link for Spica 2nd costume doesn't do anything.
  • On Sol, there is no space between weapon and actual weapon (i.e. Weapon:Steel Paddle / Soul Edge (Nauptilus).
  • Separator should be "," not "/".
  • Scorpion thumbnail errors still hasn't been fixed from previous update, as well all other screenshot errors.

Btw, this is just more of a future reference since I see you didn't replace the screenshot psd with the new one I sent you, as I requested. Move the watermark down one pixel so it matches with the older screenshots. Yeah a bit of over obsessing (I'm a perfectionist :P), but still better to do it now than never. You don't have to redo any of the screenshots of course.

Thanks, C.T

Apparently Dreamweaver autocorrects space when they deem it uncecessary in Code mode. When I did this in Design mode, it does not autocorrect it. This happens because I tried to delete the space inside <strong> tag and move it outside.

User originals shows Spica with her 2nd costume and clicking on it brings it to the 2nd costume. Shouldn't it be 1st costume as default, not 2nd?
Currently, we have not set guide for these, so I thought to temporarily replace the character's card with new costume until next update.

C.T

[*]1st costume link for Spica 2nd costume doesn't do anything.
Fixed. I slipped writing <a href> as <a hef> :( This also appears in original Spica's link to Costume 1.

C.T

[*]Separator should be "," not "/".
Fixed. Also replace all entry of "/" as separator in other character like Spica.

C.T

[*]Scorpion thumbnail errors still hasn't been fixed from previous update, as well all other screenshot errors.
This is completely my ignorance since I thought you fixed it when you asked for the data. My apologies :( :( It's now fixed.

Template fixed. This occurs because none of your template files was used directly as automation part. They are used to make newer template, which, in my opinion, will decrease compatibility issue since I don't know your version of Photoshop (we still have that font compatibility issue).

Finally, this is a test video of SC4 Versus. I just realized that the game has no Battle Theatre, jeez.

I would like your idea on how SC4 video being done :)

No, but it is more sensible. However keeping the 2nd costume up front until it is no longer new is fine.

It's good, but bitrate can definitely be improved as there's quite noticeable macroblocking and pixelation. I recommend encoding in H.264 using x264 vfw encoder. Current video downloads on the site are encoded using this method at 13.5Mbps. You can do a comparison with the videos such as Lucca's. Remember that if you upload to YouTube the quality gets degraded further, so you want the source to be as clean as possible without going over 150MB.

Title screen should be omitted.

The fighting could be a bit better as well, but it doesn't make or break the video since the point isn't supposed to showcase skill (unless you want to).

One more thing, why is the 2nd costume labeled as "Costume 1"? It should be "Costume 2" as costume 1 is basically the default costume.

I am encoding it with h264. I prefer 6Mbps for size matter, since most file server only allow 50 MB filesize. Encoding it with 13.5 Mbps willl result in 107 MB file, albeit better detail quality. Unless you want me to upload Megaupload.

It shows the website. Shall I move it to the back of the video?

I think I have to practice more to match the Edgemaster opponent.

Forgot about this. Fixed :)

You can use MediaFire to upload files more than 100MB (register an account beforehand to make sure the files don't delete themselves to inactivity). A lot of videos on the site are already 100+.

I don't think it's necessary and since none of the old videos have any titles. But you can keep it if you think it's better.

Perhaps I should rephrase myself. I'd like to see more interesting gameplay style and some use of combos. As I see it you seem to repeat the same moves.

I'll take note on that. Oh ya, just so we're on the same boat, I was the Male Random on that video.

Is that edgemaster difficulty? The AI seemed primitive and not very hardcore aside from sidestepping.

Sadly yes. The AI in SC4 won't pull out crazy guard impact stunts like in SC3, but they are better at reading your button input.

PS: Dude, 4444 post. Beware of death XD

Edit: Here's the 13.5 Mbps version of the vid: http://www.mediafire.com/?ks31s7bjsus77r7

Surprisingly I'm not noticing much or any of a difference, but maybe perhaps you're not working on a clean, raw non-encoded source?

It's better to stick with the 6Mb version.

The raw file is only 25 Mbps and yes, the macro blocks are visible there. The bitrate nowhere close to PCSX2's 84 Mbps.

At 25Mbps it should already give you something a little close to raw.

For reference and to save hd space, I record the source at only 20Mbps. Then later encode it to 13.5Mbps. So technically you should be able to get much better quality than that. Perhaps it's what capture software you are using? Have you tried using fraps yet?

Not to say that the quality is bad though, it's good. And certainly good enough to be put on the site, it could just be better.

My TV Card somehow disagrees with 3rd party recorder. Things that happen include: broken frame, unsynchronized sound, or no recording at all (program crashed).

The raw is an MPEG2, so it needs more than 25Mbps to be a perfect raw.

Seems like the SCIV site is down until next month since the traffic exceeded. Very unexpected.

BTW, the update on BWSC3 would be postponed since I have to face microbiology final test. Wish me luck :D
