Then it probably doesn't work together. Why not just bundle the codes separately and use them one after another? |

Because I have a crap PS2 with an AR-MAX being used in it. I got a slimline ps2, and the drivers are still set to the basic 1.something-or-other crap that was set to it originally, and I don't know how to update it without a certain disc, which I can't find because I was told it was "unavailable". And because of this, my ps2 can't handle certain codes from the action replay correctly, those codes mainly being moveset modifiers (done separately) and that code from Final Fantasy X that gives Rikku her Godhand weapon, as well as many other codes. I also took a look at your weapon code for Night Terror's sword and the enabler in their RAW format. I know you already got this information, but it gave me this in MaxConvert: Enabler: 204479B4 0803FFD0 200FFF40 3C02004B 200FFF50 3C02004D 200FFF5C 08111E6F Night Terror's Sword: D046DBA2 0000FDFE 200FFF48 24010027 D046DBA2 0000FDFE 200FFF4C A0414862 If you can give the information I need to make it work with that enabler, mainly by bolding or coloring the parts of the code I need to modify and giving me a description of what it is and how to modify it, then I can do the coding I am trying to do. |

1. Check the region. Ensure you use the NTSC version. 2. Converted, the code would be:
Try and see if it works. If not, check if simpler code works, such as the character modifier code. If still not working, your master code could be the problem. |

Umm...Thanks Perseonn, but I didn't need the codes to be converted. I am trying to make my own code right now, and I was asking if C.T could tell me what parts of the RAW code I would need to change to make it work with the enabler that was made for the Night Terror and Abyss weapon codes. I think I may have made the codes incorrectly, and I wanted to know which parts do what so I can make the codes work. And besides, I didn't have to recreate the Night Terror/Abyss weapon codes in a different SCIII file on the AR-MAX, I just added them in and they worked like a charm. Oh O_o sorry. Actually, you can find codes in 2 ways: 1. Figuring out: PS2DIS (Harder - yields bizarre codes) 2. Memory search: Using ArtMoney (Easier - yields standard codes, but might not work o PS2) AFAIK, the enabler and weapon mod code was made by using PS2DIS. Look at the code and you can see it begins with 00Fxxxxx, not 04xxxxxx. The 00Fxxxxx is on the (looks like) system memory part of the DIS. There's a weapon modifier that begins with 04xxxxxx, but it must be used in conjunction with character modifier and does NOT work on the PS2, only on emulation. |

If you go back one page, there is an example for the weapon modifier codes I am trying to do that C.T showed me. What I need to know is what part of the code I need to edit (as in the last four numbers on each line) so I can make the code work. I want the code to be based off of the exact same enabler and disabler that was used for the Abyss and Night Terror weapons that was made.

If you're using NTSC system, just convert it using MaxConvert. the ones you need to change is only the weapon (character) digits. |

Okay, I did the conversion of Night Terror's sword back into RAW format, and it gave me this: D046DBA2 0000FDFE 200FFF48 24010027 D046DBA2 0000FDFE 200FFF4C A0414862 Do you think you can tell me what parts of the code need to be changed to make a weapon that works with another character's moveset? I can tell that the 'D046DBA2 0000FDFE' parts of the code don't need to be changed, but what about the other 2 parts of the code? Also, I was wanting to know if I could get some help making another weapon code? What I want to do is set it up (once again) using the same enabler and disabler as the Night Terror/Abyss weapon codes, but I want it to be the Iron Sword weapons with Nightmare's moveset. Have you input the weapon master code? NTSC version should be: 204479B4 0803FFD0 200FFF40 3C02004B 200FFF50 3C02004D 200FFF5C 08111E6F The code must be present before any weapon code in your cheat device. If this still not work, just use the moveset code. |
