I'm not sure, but it doesn't hurt to try. You could try going from Raw to each other format in Maxconvert and see if any of them works without the issue. I'm not sure if Gameshark 2 v1.3's codes format is different from Gameshark 2 v1. |

I might be able to help with that. Do you ONLY have a Gameshark, or do you have another device? I need to know so I can figure it out. |

Then in that case, it SHOULD take the codes in RAW format. However, I lost my GS V1 a while ago, so I can't guarantee anything. Just give it a try, and if it works, kudos to you. If not, then I, or someone else on the forum, can convert it for you so it works. I got the game ID, so it should be easy. If you have the MaxConvert program, you can do it yourself. And here's something useful for you, the game ID for SC3 is 0869, so if you have to convert the codes, just switch the format of the codes to what you want, and use the game ID i just suggested. |

Game ID is only applicable for AR MAX conversions, all versions of GS doesn't need one. What you should do is test the RAW codes first, then attempt all of the GS/AR formats and see if any of them works. |

Didn't know that about the game ID, but all in all you just repeated what I said. Ah well, at least you made it clearer then I did. |

C.T, can I get your help? I need to make a joker command for the level codes, and I can't make them work. I need codes for the badlands, the forest, the castle gates, and Japanese castle codes, but I want to set the codes for these as L1+L2+D-Pad, and the other code is for the Highlands level from Vs. Special with L1+R1+D-Pad. I've tried several times, but none of my attempts have worked. I NEED A PRO'S HELP!!! ___________________________ Did this thread die or something? I seriously need help... Did you read the joker command part of the guide? L1+L2+D-Pad is D046DBA2 0000FABF L1+R1+D-Pad is D046DBA2 0000F3BF So if you want L1+L2+D-Pad to select the Forest stage, your code would be D046DBA2 0000FABF 004ED64C 0000001F which would need be to activated during the stage select screen. Make sure you do not use any other joker commands that may conflict your stage selection joker. |

I did read the joker command part of the guide, but I couldn't figure it out. And I also read it again, just to make sure, but I still don't understand it too well. So, if I want to set it to the button of my choice, I take the last 4 numbers in the raw code and subtract the coding for the button I want into the code? This is what I was getting confused about. The coding for this isn't as easy as I thought it would be according to the guide. But, now that I got the raw code for the L1+L2+D-Pad and L1+L2+D-Pad codes, I need to know what I need to do next to set the D-Pad as a certain button.

0000 - No Buttons 0100 - L2 0200 - R2 0400 - L1 0800 - R1 1000 - Triangle 2000 - Circle 4000 - X 8000 - Square 0001 - Select 0002 - L3 0004 - R3 0008 - Start 0010 - Up 0020 - Right 0040 - Down 0080 - Left 1. Pick a combination of the above buttons. 2. Add all the buttons' digits together (if you're using a calculator make sure it is set to scientific and HEX mode). 3. Subtract that amount from FFFF. 4. You should get your joker digits. 5. Replace the joker command's last four digits with the joker digit you just created. (D046DBA2 0000xxxx for controller 1 and D046DC72 0000xxxx for controller 2) |

Oh, now I get it. I didn't understand it at first, but now i got it. I thought I had to subtract FFFF from the amount I got, not the other way around. Thanks for the help. Now I can make some of my own joker commands and other such codes to help this thread. Also, I read through the moveset modifier code list, and I noticed something odd. Are you sure the enabler is supposed to be 200FFF24 2404000xx on the first line of code? Because all of your other RAW codes seem to be a combination of two 8-digit codes for one line of code, it seems odd that this codes is started with a line of code that has 8 digits in the first half, but 9 in the second half.

It should be 240400xx and not 2404000xx. |

Okay, that's what I thought. Good thing I brought it up so it can get fixed. Also, I tried the level modifier codes so I could play in the inaccessible levels, but it didn't work. Any idea on how to fix that? |

You need to be specific. Give me the codes you are currently using, your cheat device, region, etc. |
