I use ArtMoney via emulator. Check this amazing program at http://www.artmoney.ru/ In emulator, all addresses will be loaded to your system memory, thus allowing you to monitor the addresses and do a direct experiment, unlike in PS2DIS where you must guess the adress had triy them directly on your console.I've been using ArtMoney since I hacked with ePSXe. Have no problem up until this date

Thanks! I might be able to come up with some good codes to help out. I can't get the PRO version of it (don't have a way of paying for it yet), so I'll get the freeware version. Thanks again! Also, I had a thought the other day about the Abyss Weapon code. You said it was set for Zasalamel's fighting style, so how come you couldn't set it to Abyss' actual fighting style? |

I say don't bother with ArtMoney to hack out codes for SCIII unless you have a hardcore performance PC, even so SCIII will barely run adequately and unacceptably slow. If only PCSX2 improved its emulation software somehow. |

Really? Well, this is actually the first time I've even been able to start making codes. And I'm pretty sure I got a computer with enough performance ability to handle ArtMoney. But why do I need an emulation program for SCIII? Can't I just input the game ID and continue on from there? |

Performance on ArtMoney isn't an issue, the issue is adequate performance with SCIII on PCSX2, which on any computer will be atrociously slow. You want visuals to know what you're doing, otherwise you'll be completely lost, hence why you need to emulate SCIII on your PC and use it in conjunction with ArtMoney (ArtMoney is designed that way). Perse posted how to use ArtMoney with PCSX2 awhile ago, you can read the post here. |

hmm...didn't know it would be this confusing...Not only that, but the only emulator i've ACTUALLY ever used is Project 64 for N64 games (I never owned an N64). Aw jeez...I am so confused from this...So is the PCSX2 thing included? Or do I need to go and download that as well? |

You expect creating codes would be simple? Oh how this guide would be filled with pages upon pages of codes if that was the case. You can attempt it yourself, however you probably won't understand what you're doing unless you have a general understanding of what game addresses are and how they work. One issue with ArtMoney is that you'll still have to do lots of guesswork since rarely you'll ever wind up one correct adress, even after hundreds of filters. I gave up on ArtMoney with SCIII since it didn't work with my setup, and referred back to ps2dis, which is a immensely more advanced and confusing software to use. You have to download PCSX2 separately, google it. Be sure to read compatibility guides on the forums as SCIII requires a save in order to bypass the intro. |

http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php Whether you choose binary or installer it does not matter. The software will be unpacked into two versions, virtual memory version and standard version. The virtual memory should be used unless you have trouble running it and games don't run under it. |

Whoa, this looks kinda bad for our hacker seed! Dark_Kinight666, if you have a Project64 and it runs smooth, try using ArtMoney with that program first. I tried Project64 plating Castlevania and Castlevania Legacy of Darkness and it come out fine. Once you get the grip for hacking a game, move to the next game. Hacking needs experience, and you'll get it by the # of games you hacked ![]() FYI, my SoulCalibur III emulation only run at 7-15 fps (10-15% of actual speed). This is what the performance issue C.T is talking but

So I should test ArtMoney out on Project64 first? Thanks for the tip, Perseonn. Well, until then, can I ask you to make another weapon code? The code I was thinking of (before I ran into this problem I'm having with game hacking) is something that makes it so you can use Siegfried's weapons with Nightmare's fighting style. I was thinking this would be a good code for weapon exhibitions.

That would be simple, just set the weapon modifier to Siegfried's digit. Though I don't know how you would select the weapon of choice, probably select the weapon slot before you activate the joker. |

I'll give it a shot. By the way, I've been trying to use that ArtMoney program with Project64 like you said I should to get a feel for the program, but I still don't quite understand it. You think you could make a small help guide I could print out for that program? |
