Do you have a SCIII game entry already on your AR MAX by any chance? If not, delete every code and just enter the master code, see if that works. |

As in, "Is Soul Calibur III on the Game Selection list for this AR Max?" If so, then yes. |

Well, try using that entry and just add the new codes to it, since the Master code should already be on there. |

I entered the Remove Character Prop #1 code, and it's saying "This Cheat is for the wrong game." Do I have to update? Every time I insert the AR Max CD, it asks me if I want to update, because it detects an Internet connection. I say yes, but then after a while, I get the "Error" message. Hold on a minute. Every time I convert a code (i.e. the Universal Color Changer), the first line keeps getting randomized, while the second remains the same. What is going on? Edited by nswayne, Jun 3 2008, 11:22 AM.

Can you delete the game entry? Back up your current AR MAX save, then delete the SCIII entry, and start a new one with the master code I gave. See if that resolves it. I'm not sure if an update is necessary, but you may want to carry it out just in case. Though, try to find out why it's giving you that error. |

nswayne doesn't need to delete the game entry: same thing happens to me. It's ok, nswayne, it does that as a randomizer. As long as you have the Game ID recognized on MaxConvert (thank you, C.T, for the suggestion), and as long as the second line is still the same, it isn't a problem. I tested the same thing out and it isn't an error or anything; in fact, I tested that out, i made several copies of the code, and they all worked and did the same thing. It's no big deal, it's just what the program does. Also, I don't suggest deleting the game entry if it was already on your AR Max disc. And one more thing; You say your AR Max always asks you to update, right? Well, if you are getting that error so many times, check your PS2 internet connection. That's one of the only reasons your AR Max won't update. By the way, C.T, am I at enough posts to be able to submit a character for everyone to use? I hope so... Thanks Dark_Knight666 for the insight. Comes to show I pretty much know nothing about how AR MAX works. You have 13 posts, equaling 65 points. You need 100 points or 20 posts for your first character. Check the Submissions Guidelines on the submissions forums. |

okay, 7 more posts...oh wait, this makes 6 left =D lol btw, your welcome. I have been using AR Max since about christmas last year, and I have pretty much used it on all of my games except one, so I got a lot of practice in on using it. Now I have one more question: I went through the guide for the fifth time (man, I need to print and bookmark that thing...) and I came across one issue involving the weapon modifier codes. I was looking at the one that allows you to switch your weapon out for Night Terror's and Abyss's weapons, but I noticed that you have them set for the PAL version. You think I might be able to ask your for the NTSC edition? |

The NTSC version of the codes should already be on there. The codes in black are for NTSC, blue is for PAL, and purple is for both versions. Just enter the codes in black and purple, ignoring the blue codes and I believe that should work. |

Okay I tried some of the other codes. Extra color changer: Not sure what this does, but it has a bizarre effect. CaS characters get engulfed in literally the brightest red in existence. You can use it to color Cassandra stockings skin color like stated so, otherwise I don't what it's useful for other than that and making a character all in red. I'll have to mess with around it more some other time. Zombifier: Turns all females into nasty zombie grannies, ugh! Nah, it's the males too. It's a cool code to make your own zombie character, too bad you can't limit to one character only cause once you use it every characters gets effected by it. Also the zombiness sort of wears away if you zoom in too close to a character's face, and then it appears like normal. Zasalamel with the code on looks like his old face in one of his endings.

Didn't you say you had a AR MAX? Why don't you try it yourself and see, it's more experiencing that way. EDIT: Got a code replacement, as well as new codes. Extra Color Changer has been removed and replaced with a less buggy Standard Characters Color Changer. Unlike the previous code, this code manipulates standard characters only, and will allow you to do much the same as the previous code (changing colors of restricted parts on standard characters to skin tone or other colors). Standard Character Color Changer 202D8E70 3C014000 202d8E78 44817000 Added Standard Character's Clothing Remover #5 (#4 in the guide), which is best used to remove Taki's faceguard. Remove Standard Character's Clothing #5 20463798 00000000 20463BB8 00000000 Added some new multiplication codes: Player Attack Altitude Modification: Changes the altitudes of all your attacks. Player 1 204B9604 ????0000 Player 2 204D23C0 ????0000 Player Attack Force Modification: Changes your moving speed/force when attacking. Player 1 204B4088 ????0000 Player 2 204D1808 ????0000 Player Attack Power Modification: Changes your attack power. Player 1 204B4C30 ????0000 Player 2 204D23B0 ????0000 Added the freeze / unfreeze motion codes. These aren't actually new, but they are superior and more efficient than using the current game speed modifier codes. Freeze / Unfreeze Motion <JOKER> 201D5D80 10000121 <JOKER> 201D5D80 10640131 Some other codes: Stage Ground Disappearance: Nothing useful, but it's fun to watch your characters battling in mid air. 20461E60 00000000 Soul Charge Always Active: Player 1 204B4C48 40000000 Player 2 204D23C8 40000000 Finally, add a in game text remover code. This may or may not be useful for you, but for me this is one of the most useful codes I've created. This code isn't working for NTSC-UC SCIII shamefully. I've created it on the Japanese SCIII using ps2dis but porting to the US version resulted in garbled text results. I'll perhaps locate a better alternate code. ALL THESE CODES PRESENTED HERE ARE AVAILABLE ADDITIONALLY IN THE GUIDE: http://s14.zetaboards.com/SC3_CaS_Forum/topic/157433/1/ Currently working on: Character size modifier (went through about 50ish codes but unfortunately not having any luck. )

Good luck! If I knew how to work out these codes I'd help, cause I'm really looking forward to this particular cheat. On another note, I still haven't found those images, but I maintain it CAN be done. We just haven't figure it out yet. -Valdor |
| "And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revelers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all." -Edgar Allan Poe, The Masque of the Red Death | |
