Yeah, yeah you maybe wondering why another when we already have one? Well since I took a look back at DynamoDT's FAQ I noticed he was missing some stats on some weapons(Rock's Juggernaut & Wave Sword Leviathan)so I decided to do this since I didn't feel like E-mailing him(and he didn't leave it on the FAQ ) or signing up at GameFAQs,but before getting started on posting the weapons I'll put up effects that weapons have(what it says in the game) followed by how I will write them, these are in more understandable terms incase the game confuses you on what it means.Effect: This weapon has no special effects Will be written: 100/100 Saves space from having to write useless info...specially with how this appears a lot ![]() Effect: Increase Attack/Defense power Will be written: 1X0/1X0 Depending on which one increased the X will be replaced be a number Effect: Decrease Attack/Defense power Will be written: X0/X0 Like the above but with decreasing Effect: Attack power increases as time passes Will be written: 100+/100 Pretty much explains itself though it's hard to tell if it actually works ![]() Effect: Some attacks become counters Will be written: 100(1XX)/100 The damage some attacks do will be equal to an attack counter(20% extra damage),there is no counter counter(meaning if you do a counter hit & it happens to be an attack that would deal counter damage it'll be the same amount)though you can have more than one counter hit in combos, you can also SC to do even more damage,if a weapon happens to have the above effect of attack power raising with time then both will have a plus in it An example of a combo Xianghua's AAB with Soul Calibur, she can either do 130,130,130 156,130,130 130,156,130 130,130,156 156,156,130 156,130,156 130,156,156 156,156,156 Lot of possibilities those are percentages not the actual damageEffect: Increase pushback force Will be written: More pushback force Basically juggles will last a little longer & launchers will go farther Effect: Decrease pushback force Will be written: Less pushback force Pretty much like the above but the opposite Effect: Some Counters will have no effect Will be written: Anti-Counter This maybe confusing as this effects works on the wielder not the opponent, cases where you would suffer counter damage may not happen basically Effect: Increase weapon reach Will be written: Longer reach This effect is hard to see,but your weapon is supposed to be longer,Yun-seong's Han Guang is the only one that is easy to see this Effect: Decrease weapon reach Will be written: Shorter reach Again this effect is hard to see, opposite of the above Effect: Health recovers gradually Will be written: Regen Yep just like the Final Fantasy magic spell. After running some tests characters will either have S(slow) or M(medium) next to Regen indicating the speed, Yoshimitsu's Kastane is exclusively ranked SS(super slow) Effect: Health decreases gradually Will be written: Sap Like early Final Fantasy's when your life would drop overtime during battle which made a return in FFXII,even if you have a weapon that will gain life back you will never get a perfect if this effect is on. After running some tests characters will have Either S(slow) or M(medium) next to Sap indicating the speed, Nightmare's Soul Edge (Larvae) is exclusively ranked SS(super slow) Effect: Recover health every time you attack Will be written: +XHP every attack As long as you don't throw you will gain back life Effect: Health decreases every time you attack Will be written: -XHP every attack A perfect is pretty much nulled unless you throw when you're at full health Effect: Automatically Guard Break some attacks Will be written: Auto-GB You have to be attacking a guarding opponent for this to happen Effect: Automatically Guard Impact some attacks Will be written: Auto-GI This will ONLY work while you are blocking & you will NEVER JI so if you see an unblockable attack move Effect: Automatically dodge some throw attacks Will be written: Auto throw break It explains itself and you will never get an early throw escape(shove them away) or a late throw escape(you fall back, then get back up)see Olcdan's Tutorial Master Training-Throw Escape Timing to get what early & late throw escapes are if you still don't know Effect: Avoid some Ring Outs Will be written: Avoid RO's Won't work everytime so becareful when near the edge Effect: Guard Impacts become easier to perform Will be written: GI's are easier to do I have yet to see this effect work like it says pretty useless IMOEffect: Penetrate your opponent's guard and inflict damage Will be written: XX% Shave damage An attack that would do 30 damage will have 6 damage still go through with a weapon with 20% Shave damage on it,can do collective damage if opposing weapon has Takes XX% chip damage & will cancel each other if opposing weapon has the same percentage of Guard recover,STR stat in CotS can make this do more Effect: Health decreases while guarding enemy attacks Will be written: Takes XX% chip damage An attack that would do 40 damage will have 4 damage still go through with a weapon with Takes 10% chip damage, can do collective damage if opposing weapon has XX% Chip damage,VIT stat in CotS can make this do less Effect: Health increases while guarding enemy attacks Will be written: XX% Guard recover An attack that would do 50 damage will give 5 life back with a weapon with 10% Guard recover, can cancel out XX% Shave damage if both are of the same percentage, however a higher percentage of Chip damage will still go though if Guard recover is lower,VIT stat in CotS can make this do less Effect: Guard Impacts will damage your opponent Will be written: XX% GI damage An attack that would do 30 damage will do 15 damage to you if your opponent had a weapon with 50% GI damage, there is no difference in damage done between GI & JI'd attacks Effect: Recover health when successfully Guard Impacting Will be written: XX% GI recover An attack that would do 100 damage will give back 30 life if GI'd with Leviathan's 30% GI recover, like GI damage GI or JI'd attacks make no difference in life regained. Effect: Recover some health from opponent after inflicting damage Will be written: Life Leach (X) This effect, unlike the others,is harder to determine it's accuracy, but I've come up with something that should(hopefully) get it down right (T) Tiny - You'll barely gain back anything (L) Little - Somewhat noticeable, but still hard to see (M) Medium - Noticeable gain (H) Huge - Very big gain Finishing strikes will not gain back life though,STR stat in CotS can make this do more so a weapon with Life Leach (T) may do as much as Life Leach (M) with a high STR stat as long as you're not a one hit wonder Effect: Change weapon hit SE to special SE Will be written: Funny sound If people want I'll go ahead & put what the sound is,but for now it'll just be called funny sound Fun fact: The most damage you can do in one attack is 236(218%) with Rock wielding Wayakin while using his 236B+K against Yun-seong holding Han Guang that was counter damage,if you want to know how much that was let's say sneezing will net you a win lmao .The same done from behind will do 248(240%) also counter damage Now doing the same attack with Rock but Soul Charging before will do 260(240%) while from behind will be 285(264%) Edited by Buster Wolf, Sep 27 2010, 05:32 PM.

Yaow, very professional
I think I may have signed up on GameFAQs a while ago, so if you'd give me your permission I'd be honoured to post it for ya. I'll throw in a large disclaimer describing in detail how so not mine it was and right at the top too so that everyone will know you did it :D.And don't fret about double posting weapon guides, or even FAQs in general. Most of the stuff there is crap or outdated, so you'd be doing a favor in releasing a more complete model :). |

Yeah they still have the obvious mistake of how to get Katana weapons in the shop <_< and the weapons given for free after beating a person in CotS(Galeforce,Hell's Design,Blazecleaver,Sacrifice,Brutal Terra,Lilia & Leviathan)they have them listed as buy them after you beat the person weilding it yet those don't appear in the shop All I can say is permission granted will you also do one for the unlockables to?Update Some Counters won't work simplified to Anti-Counter Regen & Sap now have recovery speed listed Chip Damage that you do is renamed Shave Damage And fixed numerous errors Felt like doing little fixes in my spare time

) or signing up at GameFAQs,but before getting started on posting the weapons I'll put up effects that weapons have(what it says in the game) followed by how I will write them, these are in more understandable terms incase the game confuses you on what it means.
those are percentages not the actual damage
