You got past Setsuka on hard!!?How'd you do it?& it wouldn't be a hard survival if you didn't have to fight 100 people
hence why they had to use ToS & CotS characters in with the rest of the cast

Yeah, I was asking myself that same question... Setsuka's crazy. I did it, though. Glad to have a Gold on Survival (Hard). I racked up all of the other Golds except Dancing Stage (Hard) no problem. After beating down Cassandra, Sophitia always drained most of my health, and when I got to Colossus he killed me with one attack. However, I completed Dancing Stage (Hard) on Gold yesterday, finally... and I wanted to get Survival (Hard) too, but damn was it hard. I tried (seriously) every character in the game, ended up finishing it with Abelia (Eternal Rest). What's funny is, against real people, Abelia's ranked in the mid-category. Mainly I stuck with mids and lows (Abelia's highs suck. >.<) and threw in a bit of lightning every now and then... The characters I'm best with are useless against Survival (Hard) for some reason... Setsuka and Charade (Core) gave me the most problems overall. I rang out Setsuka best I could, but what was funny is I had to ring her out for all of the versions of her but the one with her best weapon. Charade (Core)'s lasers and "I only take mid-hits" trait sucked. I was seriously surprised to see ToS and CotS characters in there, though. Thought I'd tell everyone. Survival (Hard) is, as the name implies, very, very, VERY hard. I seriously think after Battle 90, the difficulty modifier is higher than Extremely Hard. Olcadan was surprisingly easy when he had The Hidden, I'm not sure why. Any other times he's a chore. |

Try convincing the people at the GameFAQs.com message board that statement. I'd say you have a 100% chance of failure. Because of three people who demean my use of Talim for tournament play, everyone over there calls me someone who doesn't know what he's talking about and someone who can't play this game worth anything. Mainly the thing I don't do with Soul Calibur that they do is break down all of the mechanics of the game into technical terms and symbols. They're "better" because they know the amount of frames move take and other things. What the hell? Who takes the game *that* seriously? If a move works, I'll use it. If a move doesn't work, I won't use it. I don't need to know the velocity of the move and exactly why it works. |

Dude, it's GameFAQs. It's typical for them to flame, blindingly, any user that joins. That's their nature. They're most likely mentally-challenged barbarians. They oughta just take away the 'GameFAQs' title, and, due to the alarming amount of flames, rename it 'The Pit Of Fire'. |

Probably a bad idea, but I posted this list over at GameFAQs. As soon as one of the Unholy Trio shows up, I bet it'll turn for the worst. Hell, I'm trying.

Let's just sit back and watch the thread decay in the hands of LameFAQs's mods, I suppose.

But if Talim is one the weakest chars... how you can be demeaned if you are actually able to compete with her in tournaments? Jealousy+Irony is occur. |
