I'm getting 410 miles per tank, and that's brimming it. Not brilliant really. Is this normal? What size is the tank?

Capacity accoriding to the manual is 55l. With fifty litres I get 390-400 miles . Thats in central london. I dont wait for the low fuel indicator. Are you on 100% wvo eddie.

I get around 7 miles per litre in my 3.0 wagon, my brothers 2.5d 190 gets about 8. Thats motorway miles though and carying weight so probably not much use.

my 190d had a 70l tank and i was able to get 650miles from it if i drove 'carefully' up and down the motorway! Otherwise i could get it as low as 380miles if i had my foot in the floor!

These are motorway miles i'm quoting btw.

My 300TD only really manages 6-7 miles per litre atm with a faulty gearbox that only goes upto 3rd gear.

We must bear in mind though that veggie oil gives lower mpg than diesel (apparantly)!

Its about 5% down apparently if you drive at the same speed. Very rough of course.

My 410 miles doesn't seem too bad then I suppose.
