My in-line fuel filter has squashed itself i presume because of pressure in the lines? What would cause this to happen? How can i go about sorting it out??!!

I guess its restriction in the fuel line between the filter and the tank, remind me, did you do your strainer ? If not then I would suggest its that, or the tank vent perhaps.

removing the tow bar is putting me off replacing it!! I will get it done soon though. I must say though that these large filters have a higher micron rating as my main filter was blocked within a month but the in-line is still perfectly clean!

Did you replace your strainer?

HEHE, nope, tow bar is putting me off :)

I would guess its your strainer, the lift pump is sucking, the strainer is resisting, something in the middle had to give.

I havent actually looked at my filter yet to see if its clogged although I have been mainly on svo anyway.
