no lights inside car at all ! help please ! :)

hi there im new to this fourm i have bought a 190e to day and i took it for a spin to night to realise i have no interior dash etc light at all so is there a switch or is there something im missing or what up help please thank you .

Hello and welcome.

There have been a few posts on this recently. Try doing a search.

IIRC the main culprit was a fuse on the back of the clocks(speedo, rev counter etc) You have to take the clocks out and look for a red fuse on the back of the clocks. The fuse holder looks like the small black twist in bulbs, but is red.

Try rotating the dash light level thingie, its on the cluster, one of the two things that stick out.

:lol: And there was me trying to be clever, i totally forgot about that :lol: It could indeed simply be the dimmer switch. It's the trip re set button you need to turn.

I do hope it's just that because taking the clocks out can be a right pain in the arse.
