Cannot get the fob to de activate the alarm which is set. Fob appears to work fine. We have not used the car for a while. Could it be a flat battery? Any help appreciated as car needs to go for MOt next week before I sorn it.

Thanks in advance

sensors on doors or bonnet might be out of kilter and setting it off, thats what my 2.5-16 has at the moment

Thanks for that. The alarm has not tripped. I set it when I put the car in the garage. The fob will not unset it now although the battery in the fob seems fine. I wondered whether it might be a flat car battery. Plan to just open door with key in morning and disconnect battery negative if alarm goes off

We had this trouble when we owned our 190. It ended up being a flat battery ;)

Could be condensation in the sensor inside the car, especially if it's roof mounted near the sunroof!

If the battery voltage drops below 11.5v it will set the alarm off. Also when reconnecting, nagative terminal frist then positive.
