What percentage of WVO do you run on these days. I havent been using for about a month and I really would like to go back to WVO. Temp is around 6C in the morning. The WVO in the back yard is not cloudy at all.
My car is not modified and as we all know there is a built in heat exchanger.
I am thinking of WVO 90% and petrol 10% or Wvo 80% 10 diesel, 10% petrol??

I run 100% wvo when I have it. Stocks are low at the moment and my local tesco have svo on offer so its mainly svo at present.

100% all the way!

I've been on 100% in my Pug 306 since April, and having recently swapped over to the Merc 2 weeks ago, I am on 100% in that too. Cold starts take a while on the starter before she fires up, when she she does there's no problem. Not even any hunting, and this is at 0700 when the temp is about 8.0C

Dream veg oil engine!

I'll push the 100% as far as I can into the winter. When it struggles to start I'll add some petrol. From experience I don't expect to have to go over 10% petrol though.

This will be my third winter running WVO-every morning is an exciting adventure lol.

About 65% Svo and 30% Diesel and 5% Petrol

I need to sort some WVO but I have been too unwell recently.

And if it wont go a quick squirt of "Easy Start" gets it going.

A occasional quick squirt on a cold morning aint an addiction,
Mabey if I changed the glow plugs it would get going a bit quicker but I am unable to do machanics at the moment so a cheap fix will suffice for the short term.

Hi All- I added around 10% PETROL YESTERDAY and it was hunting last night when the engine warmed up. ( WVO 90:10 Petrol) Could this be due to vapour lock or is it another leak again. After cooling it down again (8C) it drove well.

I dont know much about adding petrol, never done it before. I would have thought if it mixes properly with the oil it shoudnt have a problem.

Still 100% veg in my wagon :) Idle is a little low but fine apart from that.

Driven it today around 10 miles. No issues. However there are some air bubbles coming into the cannister filter. Checked all connections they seem to be fine. There are some bubbles in my oversized pre filter. Did pass some compressed air through the pipess as well. I am thinking of swapping the outlet and return pipes if the problem continues. ( if it is a strainer issue- but it was cleaned a month ago)

Still 100% veg at present (90% svo / 10% wvo), but I have added a drop of the coldflow350 stuff this evening. 25ml per 10 litres of fuel, I started early so I havent mixed it particularly well, just dumped a shot in the room temp veg and shock for 10 seconds., I will let the pumping from tank2 to tank1 mix it to the first degree, then the swooshing in the tank, and then the flow back from the return line to mix it all together and warm it.

I probably wouldnt start so early but I am off to belgium soon and it looks pretty cold there !

So technically, as of tomorrow I am only 99.75% veg
