I used the RAC as a member for single trip about £40 online. RAC - I was told by someone to join the caravan club for about £30 a year there's some annual upgrade with which also covers older cars and works out cheaper. Car clubs generally get you discount too. You'll have to check small print. I forgot and did it online as I left, but I suppose that has the benefit of not receiving a caravanning magazine! |

With my Peter Best Classic car insurance policy I get Europe wide insurance cover, Europe wide breakdown cover and an agreed value on the car. Might be worth considering changing your provider if the insurance is due soon. Only drawback is the need to have two cars to be eligible for this policy and the annual mileage is restricted (in my case I opted for 3k miles per annum, but this could be increased if necessary). |

Not sure what type of cover your after but many normal policies automatically give you 3rd party cover anywhere in the EU. Some you have to notify some you dont. |

Classic line are not bad, standard in the cover. The breakdown cover will rape you tho, due to the age!! I like how they consider age which does not reflect condition and reliability. |

have you tried Sky insurance? See our discounts section. Lukey baby included Euro driving cover on my annual policy but would be well worth asking if they will cover you for a short trip!! |

My lancaster insurance covers for europe as does the associated breakdown cover on a 1987 car. The breakdown cover element was £39 including recovery to home
