Following on from my last post re the Becker BE1305; I have downloaded the code software from the link in the sticky at top of forum, problem is I don't know which digits of the serial to enter. The format of the Becker serial is B1234567 but the decode software only expects 4 digits. I have tried the last 4 numbers but that doesn't work & now I've locked the bl**dy thing out, grrrr. Cheers, Chrisall |

I presume that it will allow me to enter a code again after a certain length of time has elapsed? At the moment it displays '----' instead of 'CODE' and it won't let me enter anything. Cheers, Chris |

I think all Becker units have a 4-digit model number, for example the Becker Europa 2000 is called Typ 1100 On my code card for my factory fitted Europa 2000 it has the following BE 1100 A XXXXXXX XXXX BE 1100 = model number A XXXXXXX = serial number XXXX = security code Your model number code would be BE 1305, so have you tried 1305 ? and maybe the software opens up a new dialog where you can enter your serial? I can't enter anything at the moment as it's locked-out. I've tried leaving it disconnected for a couple of hours but that's made no difference so I guess it needs to be connected with the ignition on for a certain length of time to display 'CODE' again instead of just '----'? I think I might have found the correct code though - I stumped up on an online code site I found, the code given is one digit different to the one the software generated, so fingers crossed....will post back tomorrow if it works! Other bit of good news is that the ebay seller of the unit refunded me the cost of the online code. Thanks for all the input, Chris. |
