Ok, i think it's time to have a GTG for all us Veggie cars! I have got: 20 x BS109V75 20 x BS110V75 20 x BS111V75 20 x BS112V75 from: http://www.polymax.co.uk/acatalog/Viton_O-Rings.html One of these must fit the delivery valves! I've also got 20 x BS222V75 which are perfect for the tank strainer! 'the tool'.... Now we need to sort out a date and location to meet! I'll start the list: 1.nezamr 2.chrismatheou 3.... |

Would love to but I don't think my car will be ready in time. If the new engine is good I reckon I can make early Nov/late Oct. Sorry to be difficult. |

Put the kettle on and start peeling the spuds adrian, we are leaving now !!!! I am up for it, the wagon has its new brake pads and is up for a meet. What kind of date are we talking ? My 'cold weather solution' will be ready for unvailing in about 10 days I reckon. Just need to do some fridge tests. I am confused by the tool (more so than the other tool !), if its for undoing the hard fuel lines how does a socket work ? Wont the line itself get in the way ? Or am I confused ? |

Ok have a read through these. The line separates from the 'pressure valve' and then you pop the socket on top. Tbh it doesn't look like a difficult job providing removing and refitting the inlet manifold doesn't turn into a bitch. Guide to changing the pressure valve seals. LINK A nice PDF breaking the pressure valves down.. LINK And another guide for replacing the ones on the fuel lines LINK Ok the guides are for the OM606 which was the multi vale engines in the late 124's but its the same thing. Oh Oh and a nice Merc diagram too: ![]() Edited by stwat, Sun Sep 27, 2009 11:08 pm.

then shall we say sunday 11th. Btw, i tried changing the fuel line o rings with the viton and it really isnt a good idea on 603's! This website tells you which o rings need relacing on the 603's. The fuel line ones are metal whereas the 606's are rubber! |

A Hackney GTG! I like it. My road currently has a load of roadworks with no through access so we can sprawl the veg cars all over the place and not worry. Let me get a handle on whether my car is actually going to be there, depending on engine swop, etc. See The Never Ending Story

The sunday is probably good for me. Are non-veggies allowed or do they have to be initiated by the ceremonial of smearing veg on them and making them drink WVO through a used rubber hose (like most of us have probably done at one point or another )I understand the tool now, excellent. My current one doesnt leak too badly but my 2.0 did. The first link is a great walkthrough, but whats with the guys thumbs

I think we are talking about the 11th, which is 13 days. I am not sure about this weekend as I have a stinking cold ![]() 11th is best for me. Not too early as I may be towing jeremy's dinosaur juice powered planet killer to hackney in the morning. Combine up the 2 events. |

Thank you for that offer but I dont think I will be able to make it as the good old NHS want me back in on Sunday the 4th for some more surgery on the Monday. The letter has just flopped through the door so it looks like my Consultant has arranged enough time for me to be clear of toncilitus before going ahead, at least I dont have another 6 month wait. Which is nice. I dont think I will be able to make it

Reza I have loads of containers too that I can bring if you like. I've been chucking them away recently as I have to many and still no waste veg. I want to build a nice clean workable set up soon. |

Only just bought my 2.5 190d (have put a thread up in the newbie and alt fuel sections), but have been processing my own WVO for nearly 2 years, and have run a 306 on 100% WVO for 20k miles so am quite a seasoned WVOer. I am over in Croydon, so would love to come along if welcome to talk WVO related 190 chat? Edited by EddieJT, Tue Sep 29, 2009 7:58 pm.
