My front brakes are squealing on the 2.0.

Now I know I need to take the pads out, apply copper grease to the backs of the pads and put them back in, but is there a lazier solution?

When I changed the pads I couldn't find my copper grease, so I just cleaned everything up with brake cleaner. This hasn't prevented the ear splitting squeal though. My own fault really. It is a little embarrassing at the lights.

How about if I squirt WD40 all over the caliper?.....(joking of course)

They are quality pads. I think I just need to clean it all better.
