i recently purchased a fairly complete 190e subframe - only bits missing were springs, diff and 1 sub frame mount. the idea is that i can build another rear end in the garage, drop the old one, swap the last few bits over and reinstall, thus keeping the car on the road as much as possible. anyway, i checked the part numbers for the main subframe itself as this was all i was after initially - all 190's had the same number. the more stuff i can re-use from this one the better as it means less to swap, but i'm not sure what 190 this came from, i know it wasnt a 16v - the bloke thought a 2.6.... does anyone know if the hubs - particulary the lower bush/pivot is the same accross the 190 range? what about the hubs and half shafts? are they 16v specific? ideally if i could use the frame, lower arms and hubs it'd make it a lot easier, but would want to strip/pain/re-bush bits to find they dont fit! any help appreciated. ta. steve

Lower arms the same, hubss should be the same (depending on year of 2.6),frame the same. if it is a 2 litre the hubs are different right across the model years. |
