Wrote this up for the rev and thought I would share it with you guys: Sizes of the bolts and spacers in the AMG fender spacer kit. MB part number: B6 6 02 0071 for all those who want the original kit like I did ![]() I needed this kit as I had my guards rolled and that didnt fix my problem, I bought a guard roller and that didnt help either so I bought the kit. I have 225/45/17s on 17x8.25s ET34. I had 215/45/17s ET37 and for people with rubbing issues on those sized rims and tires this kit will not fix your problem you will need your guards rolled. Details of kit: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Note: Pictures only show half the kit and some of the original bolts in the top right corner of the bag Kit contains: All bolts have a 10mm hex head All lengths given without washer, every bolt has a washer 0.1cm in width and 2cm in diameter 4 x: LENGTH: 3 cm4 x: LENGTH: 2 cm2 x: LENGTH: 4 cm6 x: polyurethane spacers Diameter: 3cm Height:1.5cm Hole: 1cm 2 x: polyurethane spacers Diameter: 2cm Height:0.5cm Hole: 0.7cm Install: 1. Remove indicator, unscrew plastic screws, unplug and pull out, remove screw underneath. 2. Remove side bumper bar screw located in the wheel well, leave attatching plastic part in place. 3. Unscrew 2 bolts behind bumper bar to the left or right depending on which side you are doing. I didnt pull the bumper completely off its up to you. 4. Pull bumper down on the side to revel bolt where the fender meets bumper and unscrew. 5. Unscrew bolt below indicator spot holding fender to the car. 6. Unscrew panel just below headlight, bolt in the bottom corner of the headlight. 7. Place large sized spacer behind the fender where we unscrewed bolt in step 4. 8. Place smaller spacer and screw in place of screw we undid in step 5. 9. Place original screw back that we undid in step 6. 10. Place large spacer behind bumper where we undid screw in step 2. 11. Do up 2 bumper bolts Please note: - I have not installed the rear spacer and screw - I did not remove bumper but I had enough space to work with so I didnt have to. Comparison: Right side has the kit, left side is standard keep in mind I have not installed the rear render spacer yet as I dont know how to pull off the cladding, any ideas anyone?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks |
