I hear there was a Summer Racing Carnival on? Yes indeed , I did 5 sessions in my car with my new track-tyres , & 3 sessions as passenger in an AMG C63 / AMG SLK 55 & a Brabus Smart with 130 bhp !!! FunFunFun !!!!! My first 2 sessions were pretty much a waste as the tyres needed scrubbing-in , we went off big-time on the third corner , and my confidence took a dive , as every time I powered out of a corner , it felt like I was on ice ............But once the tyres scrubbed up , and they warmed up the car was pretty much unstickable .. Good day out and it was great to finaly meet Jez and Robert. I went out with Jez for a few laps, the valver can really hold its own on the track and the old gezza behind the wheel can drive quite well. I think I timed one of Jeremy's laps at about 1.35 but that was when he was warming up his ice skates! Edit, just found this; Vauxhall Astra Diesel (driven by The Stig on Top Gear) 1.35 (standing start) Only a few pic's as I was busy talking to people from the club and old friends.
