Morning People,

I thought id say 'HELLO' to you all, i recently purchased a 1988 190E 2.0 Auto havent driven it as of yet as waiting for the insurance certificate to come through so i can get the taxt on it, so hopefully come friday il be driving around in it  ...

Quite like this forum as it very easy to navigate your way around, similar to several other ones i have been part of..

I been working for Toyota Parts for the last 3 years so know i thing or two about cars but any help is muchly apreciated..

I am however i need of a passenger side rear electric window regulator if anyone knows of anyone that got one..

I only have a three pictures of the car as havent had time to clean and take some picts but will get some more soon, so enjoy :D

Thanks in advance
Sam

Welcome aboard :)

Window regulators are expensive from the dealer, but there should be plenty around in the breaking section.

Enjoy your stay.

I think they might be but the best thing to do it remove yours and make a note of the part number.

Welcome to the forum, another 2.0 Auto is always welcome, in my book ;)

I had to change both regulators/lift motors on mine when I got it, but it is so easy if you take your time and be careful.

Lots of forum members have parts to sell or trade, this is better than a dealership!! (cheaper too, we don't rip one another off!)

Enjoy your 190e to the full, and keep the pictures coming. :driver:

Ive noticed a regulator/motor on ebay so fingers crossed i might get hold of that rather than making a trip down to the local scrappy..

hi, nice car m8,welcome, not sure about the electric window motors, i thought the early and later cars were different, mine stopped working because the motors were full of water and had seized up, dont know if its a common problem with the back ones on early cars or not, wrapped the replacement motors with plastic bags as a bit of protection.

I was very interested in this car lately! Soon I'm going to begin the proper restoration on my 190, and so I'm looking for a good 190 run about, pref bit modified ready.
