Has anyone else ever been to a Berg Cup event? It's a hillclimb series started in Germany a few years back, after homologation rules changed in Germany, making many mod-saloons redundant. There's some serious cars, and also some fairly Wacky Racers style cars, but every one of them go totally balls-out throughout. This is a link to some photos I took when we drove the championship final in Mickhausen last year: My Berg Cup Album Check the picture of the speedo in my dads C43 on the autobahn; he had it de-restricted especially for the trip. We were off the clock and still accelerating for about 20 seconds.... must have been 180ish! Also, its well worth some YouTube searching. The 190 DTM with the Judd F1 engine I've seen mentioned in that Klasse 1 thread on this forum is the main competitor in the Berg Cup, alongside an E30 which is also F1 powered.
