Best power steering fluid to use?

As title.Power steering judders on full lock so presuming fluid needs changing.Anyone got any preferences as to which is best?

I believe its dextron II, but make sure you replace the filter too if its origins are unknown. Its often overlooked and may also attribute to juddering due to low fluid flow.

The PROPER stuff to use is the MB power steering fluid - i bought some for my new 1.8 - was pleased to find MB only wanted about a tenner for a litre

And proper MB power steering fluid is most likely normal power steering fluid rebottled. As long as its suitable for steering box system you'll be fine.

I can believe that.
In essence, an autobox is a hydraulic pump (at least a torque converter is) .
But they do come in different bottles ^o)

Autobox oil can contain different additives but i know some are the same as pas oil. This is definately something that needs clarification.
