How do you change thermostat housing cover on 190e mercedes?

Serial victim... Posts: 6,875 Group: Members Member #1,403 Joined: June 13, 2007	Point one - be careful. It's easy to break one (or all) of the three bolts. Point two - ensure that the replacement cover is metal, which is the standard replacement part now. OE was thermoplastic, which can crack. It should come with its own gasket.

Serial victim... Posts: 6,875 Group: Members Member #1,403 Joined: June 13, 2007	Yep - just drop in. You can test the present one in a saucepan of water.
