190e 2.6 wont start got good fuel pressure and replaced EHA fuel vale. got good spark and replaced distributor and rotor. just wont start want even start with ether. took to three machanics with no luck the last one told me it was the distributor but it wasent the problem. any ideas. already spent $300 and im back to square 1 checked fuel relay and ovp relay it was a mint runner and just wouldent start one day Edited by heath111, Sun Jul 5, 2009 4:03 am.

Do a compression test. If it has fuel & a spark it should always start - unless there's no compression Nick Froome www.w124.co.uk |

Hi Are you getting fuel to the cold start injector? you might have a problem with the cold start injector, the injector has to open when the engine temp is below 95deg f. check the bit that connects to the cold start injector mazza |

If its only happened all of a sudden go round all the sensors checking for loose connections, especially if things have been disturbed, once happy move onto vacuum lines and pipework. |
