LSD, no not the drug; knowledge from the masses please

Hi all, your prob thinking i should have just brought a 300e with all my questions lol, but, does any one know if a H reg 300e sportline 3 litre have an LSD? and if it does will it fit on a 190e 1.8/ if it does come with one or fit what else will i need ie drive shafts etc...

I don't think a mechanical LSD was ever commonly available for the W124. Almost certainly there were a few but I think it was rare

Sportline didn't include an LSD but some cars had the optional ASD diff which is hydraulically-operated

I love offset.

the part number on the backplate of the 2.3-16 diff starts with 124... I think there is some compatibility, once you have the shafts to match it.
