Isnt that one of the rules of 190 OTM anyway? If you go into the 190 OTM section the first thread which is pinned has the rules in it.

Love that car and its the closest look wise to mine Stu, even if I loose my deposit in this election, with a maybe like that, I might stand again.

Thanks for that Bart, but the few members who have seen the 190 will also tell you that the previous owner had not been too kind to her, and I have a lot of work to do to get her really nice. Dents, scrapes, scratches, noises, trim damage.....the list seemed endless to start with.. It is said "The camera doesn't lie"..... it doesn't tell the truth too well either. Everyone from the forum I've met have had advice and guidance tips for me, and that is wonderful; the bits'n'pieces I have needed to start the 'restoration' to her former glory, members with those parts have been very generous with their pricing for me to allow a continual month by month scheme of improvements. Without you guys, it may have been an uphill struggle from day one. Although she is, as I said "stock", the improvements I hope to make will mean she will enjoy plenty of TLC, and one thing is for sure, J787 will never go near an automatic carwash in MY ownership!! Slow but sure... my 190 will get better and better Thanks again, Bart, I do take encouragement from what you've said.

If there is a member on this site who can honestly say that their car is perfect, without any small dents, scratches or scrapes, they have either spent a whole load of money or they arent telling the truth. These cars are 15-25 years old, these things are expected. Also the collecters who keep their cars all tucked up in their garage is fine but cars a meant to be driven and enjoyed not just looked at! And there is always the owner who doesnt care for it that much and isnt kind and then another owner comes along who really does care, and who notices every small little, minor thing and thinks its a big issue. Im sure its not at all as bad as you think and i bet you only notice these minor bits and bobs when your cleaning/polishing her, looking closely and are looking for them as appose to not seeing them at all. Oh and cameras, as you say, i think most people will agree they can be, lets say misleading. For the recent pictures i posted i used my sisters camera, and no matter how high tech the camera is or how big the lense is. if the owner has spent some time, polishing the body, hoovering the inside and back-to-blacking everything they can, the camera definantly without a doubt makes it look much better, and if it doesnt then you just take a step backwards! lol And well phone cameras, for example with mine you cant see anything! lol You really cant get yourself down about these minor little things, especially when you have one as clean as yours.
