Hi there and welcome! I too have an LE. The LE was a Limited Edition model (hence LE). It was created as an end of line special to boost sales before the, in my opinion, inferior C-Class replaced it. The LE was not available with any factory optional extras but only as a fixed spec. The 1.8 having SRS Airbag, 4-speed auto transmission, electric windows front and rear, electric tilt/slide sunroof, 8-hole alloy wheels, Burr Walnut interior trim (other 190's have Zebrano) and Blaupunkt Radio/ Cassette. The 2.0 in addition had a front armrest, rear headrests and seat coloured door card inserts. 1.8 was £19,245 2.0 was £21,630 There were only 3 colours which were Rosso Red, Azzuro Blue and Brilliant Silver. All LE's were issued with a Limited Edition numbered certificate. Unfortunately I don't have mine. There are now quite a few of us on here with LE's. Hope that the above answers your questions? cool, thanks gaz2n for the info. not sure what the cars worth but i'll be honest i didnt pay all that much for it lol. its in brilliant silver, and the spec that you said it should be. have all the paper work from new for it and service history, i'll get pics up soon, well as soon as i find the lead for my camera |

Hi, welcome to the site and specifically a welcome to the LE club - of which I am also a member. I believe we now have the complete LE colour spectrum! I've got a 2.0 LE in Azzuro Blue, Gary (Gaz2n) has an LE in Rosso Red, and you've got one in Brilliant Silver. It would be great to get a picture of all three cars together - I don't think one has ever been done yet... Do you have the numbered certificate with yours? Unfortunately mine is missing so I don't know what car number it is. |

im not sure if i have the cert, i do have alot of paper work with it lol. its now off the road to have a bit of a referb, and going to get it painted as sone idiots decided to key it down both sides. oh and yeah i got the bug lol. defo agree a pic of all 3 would be good. i need to know if any members in peterborough area as need some advice and help on sorting the le out. |
