Something like that! in the harddrive labelled "the sickness" hehe...
Nah back when I had the 040 shell I was really considering a satin finish.. But now with the silver car I must start again with the paint ideas :) I have quite the nice 911 coming for you shortly, though its not as Mad Max as that older shaped one in a way.

I am really very tempted to buy a 2.0 Manual to strip out and paint Matte Black.
The gloss wheels on that RS4 Avant look fookin' ace.

Someone has to spray a 190 matte black soon!

If they don't I'll be the first and spray my diesel!

In a way, it kills the lines of the car.
But in another way, it is one of the most suitable cars for the finish, as with a gloss black Grille frame and gloss black wheels, it would look incredibly menacing.
The standard grille setup is the only thing that makes the one above look unfinished, imo.

So true.

I wonder if Matte black is one of the harder or easier paints to spray..... and how it shows up or doesn't show up imperfections in the paint or surface....

Although its obviously not easy to get a good finish if you don't know what your doing with paint like me  .... but maybe easier to get a better finish than metallic and possibly other paints I would guess?

Anyone know where you can buy that 'lift' kit? Looks ideal for working on the car in a single garage and perhaps not too expensive.

Right, my Matte Black fetish has come around again too recently.
Although i did see a rather nice white with matte black detailing R8 the other day which was awesome.

There was a Matte Black BMW X6 with M Style quad exhausts outside my window the other day but was running to an Interview so didn't have time to take picks. Sorry guys. It looked much better like that than with the new X6-M front mumbr that is being released this year! It's horrible!

Anyway, straight off the pages of Jalopnik...The AVUS Performance Audi A5. (Ok, a diesel, but a bloody quick diesel!) RS5 out later this year or early next.

I think that is rather smart! ;)

I'd love to see a matte RR Sport! I saw a horrible gloss black RR Sport in Bicester the other day, every detail you could think of was gold. Grill surround, sills, fog lamp surrounds, door handles, half the wheels.

There was a matte black RR Sport in Marylebone last week, I was cycling t'other way and couldn't snap it.
Looked better than a shiny one, I'll say that much.
Nasty 'orrible chav cars though.
