stu, are you kidding dude? at this point you're just shamelessly plugging your 16v. you know what a black grill vs. grey looks like. guys, we all like stu's 16v, right? let's all humour him by giving him newb advice

Black. Looks better full stop. Ive done the one on my 2.6 with gloss black and the one on the 2 litre matt black but with a clear lacquer so it has a sort of satin sheen to it. Here is a pic of the2.6 with the black grill and the 2.0 with the standard grey. I replaced the chrome strips on the grill with new pieces. The ones on the 2.0 have been painted with alloy wheel chrome paint for a bit of a contrast.  The contrast is more subtle in daylight. A flash photo at night is not the most subtle!  |

Here it is, if you still want it. Personally, painting the grill black was the best thing I did to my car.
