W124 with 190 hubcaps ? yay or nay ?

Admin Posts: 16,354 Group: Admin Member #147 Joined: January 20, 2006	I dont like the hubcaps on my w124, one is damaged too, I dont plan to go the alloy route yet, I want cheap tyres for this car, until the perfect ones turn up (when hell freezes over). So, what do you guys think about the 190 hubcaps ? I love em on 190s, but not 100% sure on the 124. What do you reckon. Before (now) With the 190 hubcaps

Just a quick spray the steel to get them back with a fresh black, and you have a new set of 'rims' lol. If I find at least one steel rim, I will be going on those. I've got 3 in the garage. Once I've tried them out, and I really liked them. Should try it out mate, just remove the hubcap and see. Its not a big deal

Member Posts: 1,012 Group: Members Member #2,447 Joined: March 23, 2008	I have to say that I am one of the rare ones that thinks the standard circular trims on a 190 keep it looking classy and not cheap. Saying that, they seem to make the wheels on the 124 look smaller that the ones you already have. Why not try Halfords. They do several classy alloy wheel lookalike trims. Best of both worlds........not! Stu
