1991 190E 1.8 manual, white, no frills, FMBSH, bought three years ago as a runabout whilst looking for a replacement for my written off 98 BMW 323i Touring...the Mercedes kinda 'grew' on me and I stopped looking after a while!
Now with 154K miles on the clock my 190 still looks immaculate and drives perfectly, it is a fine old car and much loved.

Welcome to the site.

Glad you like the Merc, I too had a BMW touring that was written off and I got my 190 as a stop gap, I have had it for nearly 3 years now.

Do you, like me, consider that Mercedes did the world a disservice by not producing an estate version of this car?

Yes, attempted to upload a picture for you but the procedure seems to be overly complicated.

Works here and looks great.
See what you mean, you'd never think that was a >150K car at first glance.

Couldn't help noticing the number of 3 series BMWs of the style you had in my scrappy yesterday. They had few 190s as well but they're a lot older so it's understandable. One was the donor of a new interior mirror for me - yay!
