Posts: 5,050 Group: Members Member #456 Joined: August 14, 2006	Downside190 Mon Jul 7, 2008 2:08 pm oh yea why did we stop on the hard shoulder i never found out the reason? haha V and I almost ended up not goin to retro on the hard shoulder but figured if he could stop in time, so could i.. and we did... just about lol cant burn rubber pulling away in my 8v but can damn well do it stopping (or trying to) haha had to stop on the shoulder again 5 mins later due to a bad rubber burning smell (and my low brake fluid light coming on) but turns out it was the car in front of me

I thought everyone would get they're toe down and catch up so sorry about that. I guess that getting Jeremy and myself lost in the middle of bedford was payback! Tim, it was nice to meet you too, your sportline is a lovely example. As I mentioned, Cardiff was my old stomping ground when I was a student (doesn't seem like 4 years ago) and my sister lives in Llangattock Lingoed near Abergavenny now so a wales meeting would work nicely. H

It was a fantastic show, the best one yet, and it was beyond all of my expectations! Im a bit stuck for words as I have been driving since 1030 this morning but it was really great to meet everyone, some for the first time, others it was just as good to see again. As always I never get to spend as much time as I want to talk to everyone as there is just so much to see and do, so sorry to those I didnt see or get to say good bye to but was great to put some faces to names at long last. BIG thanks to all and more debriefing tomorrow! Roll on Retro 2009, I may have 2 cars to bring LOL PS Kennys Retrobrau is the business, I think next year we need a marquee + big long bench + barrels of beer (German Style) to get the night party going and keep everyone together Great show guys, great show...
