Bump. Any more pics ? Put them here ! So how many 190`s actually made it ? Every time I try to count the cars in the photo I get a different number

I heard it was 29 and they booked 32 spaces. Mine is right at the back left with the bonnet open (I was comparing something against the other 2.5s!) |

First lot of pics from me, here's the scene from South Mimms Services at about 10:15am:   The weather had picked up by some margin by the time we parked up on the stand at the Pod!  Marcus & Kenny weren't shy about showing us theirs pretty much straight away...  Steve's freshly polished kit looked awesome with those fat rims and new tyres.  Marv's 2.6 looking fresh, as ever...  There seems to be a bit of a trend with a certain 17" wheel, eh?

Got back about an hour ago and just finished unloading camera onto pc, so will have some more pics in a bit. Gotta say what an excellent day it was, and to a bunch of great people, how nice it was to meet you in person. Always good to put a face to the name, even if it wasn't how you picture them in your head!!! |

Good show generally, but not as packed as I'd hoped. Wayne treated us to the sight and sound of his awesome E55 AMG.  Many serious engine conversions, including a raucous E30 and something seriously yellow...                 ...and finally. The best 1/4-mile car of the day, this thing just ran and ran. Caught up with the owner as I left, engine is apparently a 5.8-litre Smallblock V8. In a Porsche 924!

heres some random pics I took of the other cars at retro code red Ford focus   Ford stand  Renault 5  Fiat Uno Turbos where running the strip most of the day and pretty quickly too!  some beast of a Ford Mustang   Not sure what car this was   Golf with deep dish rear steels  Mk3 Golf with mercedes alloys on  And playing basket ball was a no go due to extremely windy weather  Edited by Downside190, Sun Jul 6, 2008 12:23 pm.

phew, epic show guys, really enjoyed it. Nice to meet you all and do you know, I think some of you lot may be creeping into my memory. I am sure I will have forgot who is who again by next year Neil those strip shots are amazing ! I ran a 16.19s and a 15.97s, pretty chuffed to be honest. Jeremy, remind me again what you got  Unfortunately I didnt even get my camera out until pretty much everyone had left , although when I did I had forgotten the memory card so only had room for a few pics anyway. Stand looked great, I think it was 31 in total on the stand. Great banner, it was really nice having the 16v on ramps too and all the stuff printed out. Shirts are great too. I will start brewing more beer now for retro 2009 !!       btw, dave, let me know if either of you guys go blind from the raisin-jack Edited by kentronix, Sun Jul 6, 2008 2:23 pm.
