Drivetrain Slack; main causes:

I love offset.

  • propshaft rubber couplings x2 (rubber "donuts" aka flex discs)
  • propshaft centre bearing that supports the propshaft
  • slack within the diff - shaft input bearings, and/or worn Crownwheel & pinion
  • probably a bit of slack in the gearbox somewhere
  • gearbox mounts
  • engine mounts
  • and to a lesser extent subframe bushes that are less than 100% tight will all add up and contribute to the slack.
