its awesome! I love it.. as long as you are familur with electronics, its not too hard, you just have to be confident in knowing what you are doing and route the wires and mount the ballast somewhere. I bought mine on ebay.. H4 hi/low beam 6000k ![]()

Ideally you should get the bi-xenon moving kits. The law states this along with headlamp wash/wipe |

if your jsut after the look, might be worth picking up the ICE blue philips bulbs, got them on mine and gives it a pure white/light blue tint to them, nothing in your face but noticable and jsut smartens the look up a little, esp in the dark winters doesnt improve vision ro anythign though |

If you use a single/normal HID kit you will lose your main beam. Thate because the 190 uses a combined low and main beam bulb(H4) I had a HID kit on my golf and it was superb |

Hi all, I am looking at these. I have seen some for around £150 per side, yet these are £80 for both. What am I missing, or have I just stumbled on the deal of the century!! |

There is a range of H1 to H11 and then HB1 to HB5 bulbs. Is this all about fitment or brightness? Sorry I know I'm hijacking this thread a little here, but I think it will help others too. |

These kits are coming down in price all the time. I payed a similar price the other year for a H1 single kit. You have to remember though that the seller is asking £20 for postage!!!!! But still, £100 is still a good price for bi xenons and im very tempted my self!! |

Thats just the different types of bulbs. The 190 uses a H4 bulb so needs the bi xenon kits, as i stated in a post further up the page. Stu |

Sorry about my ignorance  So the Bi Xenon lets you keep the high beams and the low beams? If not Bi, you lose one, right? I would like to replace my normal lights, 2.3-16. After googling for a while, I see a lot of different brands, any high quality recommendation? Sorry about my english and hello from the other side of the world!! Best regards, Teo.

About 5:20 into the video brief on and off of 8000k HID's. Appear REALLY blue, but thats just the camera adjusting to the light. It give it a nice white appearance on the road with blue hue, and because my interior lights are blue it doesn't bother me. Pisses off other drivers though... I got my kit off a friend of mine who got them off ebay. Direct plug and play. Fits direct into the euro housing stock H4 bulb slot. Then a positive and negative set of wires to go to the battery, relay was already wired in. Ballasts were both plug and play as well. Great HI/LOW setup for $150 USD |

That is what I want, lol, as blue as possible, my neighbour has 10,000k xenons in a golf mk4 and it looks amazing, really blue. What I meant is, is there a maximum you can have until it starts melting the light housing or do they not get that hot? |

im not sure to be honest  But i cant see there being a problem with melting housings but dont take my word for it. The higher you go though the less light is produced but if you like the blue/purple colour then go for it mate.

No need to let me know bud, they ARE fakes full stop!!! They still work fine etc. You will also find that the battery connections are too short and need to be extended!!!! |

hi guys i got my xenon kit and i went for the 6000k they are mint and once i went xenon i will not be going back to normal blubs they are a piece of cake to fit i got my kit off ebay cost me 85 quid. i have a few questions tho, has anyone else with the hid kits been stopped by the police?? i have been stopped and appartently it looks too blue. to me it does not its just pure white and even on the box it states it is a near match for daylight. just wanted to ask if anyone else has been bothered by the fuzz. i am surprised to the previous post that quotes my nieghbour has purple/blue lights as they are recommened for shows only. thanks |

Hello mate. I was never stopped when i had them on my golf and it went through an MOT without probs. I also have 6000k on the merc and they look very white indeed. Not even a hint of blue so im surprised that the fuzz pulled you!! I see new cars all the time with blue looking HID's on!!!!! So how can it be a problem on your car?? Maybe the copper was just having a bad day! What did they do? Did yiou get a fine? Did they tell you to take the kit off your car? |

Well, after cleaning my drivers side lens and bowl today and adjusting the level i am not getting flashed anymore  It was glaring and the pattern was totally lost. Its now Chrystal clear
I also passed a traffic car today and he pulled out behind the car behind me. His blues came on and i thought, 'here we go!!!' But he actually pulled the car behind me over The oops behind was 3" off my bumper  so i would hope they pulled him over for that.I also noticed that the traffic car (omega) had very bright white HID's on as well so if the fuzz use them why cant we!! I recommend anyone who fits a kit to clean the inside of the lens and bowl. The difference is amazing. I need to do the other side now as the difference is that noticeable. Id also seriously recommend it to anyone with the normal halogen bulbs as its amazing quite how dirty they get inside!! |

Hey, I smashed one of my original headlights so i checked ebay and bought a complete set of aftermarket Euro/crystal style headlights and indicators shipped for less than it would have cost me to buy one second hand original. They are made in tawain and the bulbs that came with them were pretty crappy so i replaced them all and it looks (in my opinion) awesome![]() it gives it really modern look and I was so happy with them that i bought the matching crystal lens tail lights too. The next thing i'm going to do is wire a relay switch from the high beams to turn the fog lights on so that they both come on when i turn on the high beam |
