I know we're all blessed with a ludicrously thin roof panel, but thought
a quick PS might be interesting, particularly on a Silver Evo-1...

I think it enhances the really strong lines of the A-C pillar section in the front view.

You know what, i've only just noticed that i used two different Evo-1s!
One's Astral, one's Smoke.
The Astral one needs a black grille. B)
Col, you're right - centre exhaust is wrong on a 190.

Looking nasty gross.gif
I think the A-C pillar shape is one of the most striking things about our cars.
the way the A pillars swoop in to frame the flat roof panel is really nice, and
was way ahead of any other car when it was made.
Tons of new cars follow the same idea today.

So is it an actual carbon roof or just some Carbon fiber effect vinyl stuck on?
We all remember the Vinyl roofed Fords of the 70`s

Both pictures are silver Evo-1s dropped into Photoshop.
Roof area selected, then tonally inverted. A very crude method.
I started the thread to suggest what a Carbon roof might look like...

Hmmm im not sure, I kind of like it, but then I kind of dont

But one thing I am liking is the gold calipers on that almandine 16v in the background. Compliment the body paint really well.
