Stu Hi Stu I will do possibly next month, I didn't want to put her up until all the niggling jobs were completed to get her in excellent condition. Matt's had the car for a couple of weeks now, and all the work needed has now been done including a full respray of the entire Amg kit and cladding, also a new bonnet pad, attention to some slight rust in the door jams and underbonnet Vin No, A full Waxoyl to all bodywork, under the body kit which was completely removed for respraying, new battery and replacement of rear n/s leccy window motor. so the car should be well uptogether and looking pretty good, hopefully picking it up tomorrow. I'll get a comprehensive set of new photos on here, hopefully next week for everyones perusal. Then pick a nice photo to enter for next months entry. I suggested to Matt that he could do a post on all the work he's done on the car, so other members can get a good understanding of the amount of work and preparation involved in car bodywork repainting. Hopefully he can find the time to do this, and has my backing if he wishes to do so, it would be very interesting, as I have been trained in this trade, and know the complexities of doing a good and long lasting spray job.

But funny how quite small things make a difference. I really liked W201 GTS's conversion, but I REALLY didn't like those number plates. Danny Boy... great but those wheels just don't do it for me somehow. I think it's those wheel studs. Knyption... great again but I just can't get my head around the Avant Garde grille. Too many slats in it and too shiny for my taste (ditto others here). 190Neil looks completely original B). But in the end I fell for Redfar's colour and tribal diesel loyalty. Yep, it's got that Avant Garde grille So I'm an inconsistent idiot... Great cars all.
