Seriously, has she bitten you?!

I used to be into herpetology but now (all-in-all) I lead a pretty quiet life! That must gripe some - pictures are in order next time! That said, I had a mate who had a king snake... had her teeth removed but she still gave him a good gumming

As strange as this may sound, I hate snakes and spiders, but ive always quite fancied having one as a pet, so that I might get to like them, but then I start to think what if it escaped from its tank  :help:

The most likely scenario is that it would disappear under the floorboards for a few hours, whilst
it thought up the scariest place to reappear (like from behind the toilet whilst you're sat on it)

I remember helping a mate rescue his Ball Python 'Melvin' from a drainpipe in his garden.
Turned our backs for a few seconds and he was off. Unfortunatley damaged a few of his scales, but f**k me that was a strong snake.

^^That's a great looking dog, looks so docile for such a big pooch! Always loved Newfies, a bit different from the norm too...

Here's Reece, my 7yr old German shepherd, kept at my folk's place as I don't have the time to look after him properly. The only two German Sheps I've seen that are bigger than him are my old white GS Heidi and her dad, who were both well over six foot sttod on hind legs. Reece was about six foot on his, before his hips gave in.

Ha, thanks Roj. We used to have a GSD before this one. His name was Ross and he, like yours, was enormous. He was also a nasty bugger who bit any stranger/other dog at the drop of the hat. But he was very loving and was an awesome guard dog. I mss him loads. :(
But the one pictured is very sweet, and she's the ultimate chick magnet! I'm not kidding, I often take her down to the university grounds for walks. It's like being a damn superstar, with the crowds she generates.

Marcus - I don't think I'm particularily fluffy looking, am I?!

Yeah spectacled are quite nice, though I prefer forest's or Rinkhals. Too much danger for me to keep DWA, I prefer stuff I can handle, though if I did then I'd keep boomslangs, also would like to keep sea kraits as they are pretty and so docile.

Should stress in the first pic, my finger on the bottom is only there as it is a venomoid rattler, so no danger from venom.

What DWA do you keep if you don't mind me asking ?
