Will they rub if i lower it

Hi

I have seen a 40 mm lowering kit i want to get, i am currently running on 205 60 15 tyres all round will they rub if lowered?

dunno if this is any help, but i have 18s, also lowered 40 mm all round, with the rear arches rolled and no rubbing .. unless i have a car fulla fat blokes (which happened one) then .. they rub when i turn :(

I love offset.

I would say those tyres are kinda "balloony"? and may just rub a bit..

Dont forget to get shorted uprated dampers too, otherwise the stock ones will bottom out lots and eventually die, and then the car could tend to bounce along as the damping wont be working correctly.. e.g. handling and ride comfort is out the window..

Just like my little hoppin Golf! Silly little car :lol:

Then again 40 mil isnt a huge amount I guess? so that could be worst case and you may be ok (re: the shocks failing) but if you are going to the trouble of upgrading the springs you have to do the dampers too.

She'll handle better in the end!
