Found this pic of some 16" 8-holes, and i think they look ace.
Does anyone currently have these?

btw, the car appears to have custom fogs in the standard front bumper, and a nice low ride height!

Those wheels really set the car off, simple but elegant

I had a set of these-swapped them on here for a set of 16 inch AMG rims. Liked the look of them, and the qulity of ride they gave, but the AMG wheels match my bodykit.

I love offset.

Those wheels are very nice, they look like they've been "diamond cut" (well I think thats the name of the process). He has a nice solid tyre size on there too.

That car is really really nice though, almost makes me want to stick with the 8v body for a while :D

(What I really like though are the slightly smoked headlights & indicators, I always thought mine were a little too bright.)

Yes!
Do you know what width they are?

As far as i can tell, MB did that design in 16x7.5J and 16x8J.
mind you, W126/C126 offsets are way off the W201 i think.

They're nice, a lovely subtle upgrade for our cars (though i can
understand why they might not go with the AMG kits) B)

Dave - it looks tight, doesn't it?

Nicely smoked lights, and the tints suit the paint colour perfectly.
I've been wondering which elements of all your respective kits you'll use!
AMG arches are a must, you gotta rock them with the 16x9s.
As for the rest, i suspect a few photo-tests with the parts offered up to the
car might be needed...

I now want a manual 'box, headlight wipers, more power and dark paint.
So i might as well try and save up for a 16v... :P

It sure does Neil!

I'll be using the AMG stuff for the front end, sides and rear will be 16v (bar a spoiler of course) but I would love to get away with lowering her on the 8v body, especially after all the go-fast bits are in!

Why not retro-fit some choice goodies to the lovely lil red thing?

I bet there's no 16v engined W201's blazing around in immaculate 568 paintwork!

You know you want to.. :ph43r:

My bank manager doesn't
And since i know sweet FA about mechanics and don't
even own as much as a set of axle stands, i'd be best off
selling it for a good running Cossie.
Just not quite yet...

Btw, have you sourced that little AMG piece you mentioned? :ph43r:
Now that's one add-on i'd happily make to my car...

True, but your learn a huge amount as you go, I have!

As for money, well, my philosophy is do now pay later, it all works out in the end! If you worry too much about the funds nothing ever gets done. But I could seriously do with a pay rise

As for that little piece, not going to look for it, I like the smooth look too much ;)

nice colour, lovely ride height and nice grill too. Have they colour coded the very edge of the front indicators ? perhaps it just happens to match.

Not actually that keen on the wheels but either they are quite wide or have a nice offset. Seems nice and close to the body.

I think he's masked off the edges and added extra tint to blend
it to the density of the paint. Really nice touch!
Those 8-holes are almost certain to be 16x8J ET34, same dimensions as my rims.
not sure about tyres, either 215s or 225s.

I think they are 7.5" - they're only running 205 tyres, so I guess they're not 8s! And the offset IIRC is 11, so they wouldn't be too much use on the 190s!

I'll have a check on the spare tyre tonight when I get home for you.

Cheers, Martin
