ahh she has recovered, you have done a good job there. Seems to have gone to a good home :)

Was it hard to fix in the end?

A couple of teenagers told me the other day my car was "sick,"...

This could be a compliment. These days you never know.

Nice work. What about some clear indicators?

It was amazingly straight forward, and I'm saying that as someone who has never done any bodywork at all, ever, before. Bolt off, bolt on. After taking the sides off two 17 y.o. cars I found no rust and everything slotted together like lego.

The hardest bit to figure out was getting the wiring and window plug through the tiny hole in the rear door. The quality of these cars is truly amazing.

It cost a 100 quid cash to get the B pillar & hinge straight (they did a PERFECT job - zero wind noise). The doors, cossie skirt with rear bumper & front wing came from a car I found on ebay, a VERY cheap 040 2.0 with a Cossie kit that had the NS fecked up.

That looks ace!
Tyres look so tiny, bet the acceleration's improved.
Your 'Lego' analogy is very encouraging - been wondering how mine
would look in 16v clothing.
