Spotted this today on the motorway, not the best of pics but I was driving a 44tonne truck at the time.

While at Kwik Fit (don't ask!) I spotted this work in progress. I know it cant match the Astons's and Jags that have been pictured recently but I think there is something a bit cool about a car that was regarded as rubbish that is still going today and being driven because it stands out from the norm.

The interior was wood with massive dials and the largest steering wheel ever seen on earth.

Now, if those alloys were a different design, 8J in width and the car wasn't on stilts, I think I would probably drive it myself!

The Lister is nice, but a bit over the top I reckon. A good 5.3 V12 pre-facelift XJS or even with the facelift actually. Blue or British racing green would be a good purchase.

The Maxi looks like your nan in trainers

^Uber-cool Jaguar, and I'm with Everton on the Maxi - those wheels are soooo wrong!
From Alan Partridge's Rover 800, I think

Saw this today, definitely one of the nicest-looking GTs out there atm.

Coming back past Regent's Park this morning, Clive Suttons were showing their wares.

Both these AC Cobras are brand-new, with 4.9-litre V8s.
£60k each...

He also has an Alfa-Romeo 8C Competizione in too, with a rather silly number plate.

Out for a ride this morning, I happened upon a 190E I hadn't seen for over a year.
Last time I saw this car, it was parked under a tree, covered in bird sh!t and dust, and I left a note under its wiper saying something like,
"Please start treating this lovely car like a Mercedes-Benz, lots of love www.Mercedes190.co.uk".
I may have been to the pub that day.
It really made me smile to see it looking so sharp today, Nautic Blue really is a fantastic colour for the 16v kit - cannot wait to see more of the ex-King Constantine 2.5-16.
As to be expected, there are London battle-scars all over it, but generally it looks tight. The interior is grey, really suited it.

I'll try and catch it another time.

Your other halfs dad has a nice BMW! You also answered the Landcrab 1800 mentioned earlier.

I think that XJS's is a Monaco http://www.paragondesignuk.com/xjsmon.htm
The Lister's are very nice however. I heard from Jaguar mechanic friend who had a Le Mans in that had been spun that they are full and full of filler. I had one on my wall!

Stu,
I like that. They can be had for fairly reasonable prices too.

I would rather one of those than the Pagoda, sorry.

Very nice R107, they are very charming cars - a little 'restrained' visually though.
I liked the red AMG one in last month's Merc Enthusiast.

Bringing the SL bang-up-to-date though, here's the new SL 63 AMG
Nice registration, I'm guessing the buyer wanted a 'Pace Car'... :D

It's the Lister XJS. The TWR XJR-S looked far less lairy, and there wasn't as much done to the bodywork!

Rare as rocking horse poop, Lister XJSs!
