as most of you will know, i practise the art of self-restraint when it comes to permanent mods. however, i'm not against modification if it's done properly and tastefully - Energie's and Sunny's 190s are among my favourites. my own wishes would be to simply declutter the 190, and add some choice rims. oh, and lower her a little! so gone are the door handles & locks, boot lock, aerial and repeaters and the C-Pillar has been smoothed. i left the impact strips black, as i think they strengthen the visual dynamics of the car...

Almost the same as you mate. I want shaved door handles. Or popper son all four of them, including boot. Without body kit: Lowered, big Brabus VI's, tinted windows, and have the whole car painted blue-back. Maybe blacked out rear lights...? The whole interior would be re-done, possibly to something like a newer Benz. Or everything above with WALD body kit. |

I agree with that! I was going to spray mine white to match the car, but I like the black when its clean - looks very sharp |

I like everything you've done with that photoshop, except removing the C-Pillar vents. I know it makes it look smoother, but it also makes it look like any other cars C-Pillar. Its one of the unique design points of a W201 I think.. Also, you forgot to remove and smoothen the black plastic lip on the boot. And maybe remove the 190E badge, I like just the star, maybe a slightly smaller one, ala W203, and lower down too. But hey thats my preference I'm still undecided on bodykits, but will probably end up with a 16v kit, they give the car a nice edge. Wald kit is sweet but just too expensive for the moment. Euro-style all the way!!

Very cool. I was wondeering what it'd look like with shaved door handles. I like the C pillars and wouldn't change them, but I like the clean and simple look too. My car never had side repeaters and I've shaved the antenna. I think the door handles might be next. Still making my mind up!! Those rims look cool. There was a set of OZ's for sale on ebay today just like those... |

ever seen the inside of a Porsche 964 Carrera RS? right up your streets lads. "The 964 Carrera RS was based on the cars built by Porsche for the Carrera Cup race series. Just like the old 2.7 RS of the early '70's it was stripped of any luxuries to reduce weight. The motor was 'blueprinted' and gave a claimed 260hp against the standard cars output of 250hp. Designed to enable owners to use their car on the road, track, hillclimb or sprint. The body shell was stronger and lighter too, with aluminium front lid, seam welding, lighter doors and 3mm versus 4.7mm side windows, lightweight rear bumper, underbody sealant deleted, an in built battery cut off switch, special ultra light Magnesium 17" Cup wheels, 40mm lower suspension and much uprated dampers and springs. Turbo front brakes brakes with re-tuned ABS. Inside you got lovely lightweight carbon fibre 'Recaro' race seats, 4 point safety harness, no air con, no heated window, no electric windows or central locking and special thin side glass.. Trim was sparse, very basic door cards, a little strap rather than a handle to pull the door shut, little soundproofing, the rear seats were removed -even the interior light was deleted in effort to save weight." and the carpeted rear bay (minus useless 911 bench seat) was embroidered "Carrera RS"... one of my favourite cars of all time, the wife would hate it! ![]() ![]() probably weighs about a quarter of my 190! |

Very Alfa 156! i like it... surely delocking the boot is the quickest, easiest? the Silver Arrows badge could then be moved down, as Dave said. i wouldn't lose the lip though, just colour-code it. |

i'm starting to hate the Modena rear bumper lookalike. Interesting thing about this one, the licence plate is from Romania. This guys had some better luck at modifying a Merc. Let me show you a recent example of not to do with your car (this is one for the garbage section) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

remove handles fill hole or weld plate over hole and repaint. to open use handle inside or fit soliniods on the lever arm. sounds so easy  done it to my old car.

Always weld a plate over the hole to avoid cracking later on.

I wanna know more about this too. Any good kits that you can buy? What ones are the most reliable / best quality? What about suicide doors in the rear? Has anybody ever done that on a 190 anywhere?? I've seen lambo doors on a 190, but not suicide doors. |

Love what you have done to the car 190evoluzione. would have tried to use a pic of your car as base picture but it always had houses in the background. its easier to copy the sea and some bushes so used a picture of mine. so here is my ultimate dream mod on a 190. not perfectly done but should give you an idea

well, modified it a little further on ps. didnt get the wheels quite right but i do think the evolution wheels would work a treat on it. ![]() however, if the 190 had ever been made as 190 CE (?) or something then i bet it would have been absolutely gorgeous and i wouldnt dare changing anything on it. |

I'd have Taint's car! Looks awesome with the bodykit, but the self-restraint of no spoiler on the boot. Even the colour is cool... |
