must be a prototype, that looks so last-minute. a sort of Halfords generic-replacement-front-seat look.

also, the other (lesser) cars have two door mirrors.
only one on the 16v...

the Single Wiper Jet looks really amazing though!
i didn't notice it first time, but it's loads nicer than having 2.
probably wasn't very effective, but i bet someone out there would try a euro-style mod like that - apparently many MkI & II Golf owners strive for a Single-Wiper conversion, wonder if they ever lifted the system from a 190?

I love offset.

You could get a decent spray with one of those fan nozzled ones maybe, nice idea for a mod never even though of that!

Although the single jet washer looks good, I think I prefer the 190 with two...

I used to have that pic as my avatar, I must try and find it!

There is actualy a proper rason for that interior.

A couple of years ago i got chatting to the guy who was looking after Ayton Sennas car (the gold 190e 2.3-16v)

I had go a couple of mags and on the front cover of one is this pic of the range at the time (i think 1985)

He told me it was because that car was one of the endurance cars and that because peaple were sitting in the car for so long it was more comfortable having the interia in cloth than in leather and it was lighter so when it came to bracking the 12 records that they did it was a small help!

Piece of usless info for u

That interior looks suited to a Renault or similar french crap.

The Nardo 16v in the MB museum has sportline style full cloth seats probably for the same reason.

The 16v in that picture has a velour interior in it. Velour was a VERY expensive option for the 190's hence they are quite rare. Don't know wat it is doing inside a 16V though
