Rear deck speakers (late models) – remove the hat rack to expose the speaker baskets/housings. These plastic housings have a little tabs which lock on the metal bracing underneath the rear deck - squeeze the locks from underneath,  push they will pop out of place.

Removing the actual speakers out of the basket - if you would like to avoid dremeling/cutting out factory drivers out of their enclosures, you may want to consider the following method:

Most of German speakers are glued into the baskets using some kind of rubber cement.  Using set of dikes, clip off those small tabs at the top and bottom surfaces (2 at the top of this picture shown):

Using a flat screwdriver or a very small panel popper, pry between the surface of the basket and the speaker - once you see that those 2 surfaces started to come apart, continue prying around, until the driver is free from the basket.

Drill the mounting holes for you new speakers and mount them into the baskets, I suggest using some kinda foam gasket

Mount the baskets back in their stock locations

Replace the hat rack back in its place.

Hope this helps
