I have brand new OTG, which I got from Nick. I've also got the new sensor and wiring.
Oddly enough, my car was never fitted with one.
It has been stashed away for a long time now, but the notion came on me yesterday to fit it.
After extracting the cluster, which I'm certain, has never been done before, (not even for a bulb) I struggled to get the speedometer cable released but eventually succeeded.
Then I discovered it was impossible to get the cluster right out, without removing the steering wheel, so I did that too
In my ignorance, I thought all I had to do was plug it in, but no, the cluster looked like it had to be separated. By this time I knew I was out of my depth, so I abandoned the idea. :(
Now I can’t get the speedometer cable attached to the cluster. There is not enough slack on the cable to get it within reach of the Speedo head. :'(

Can anyone tell me where I’m going wrong, please?
