They don't really give out much power until around 4000rpm onwards. After that it should really pick up its skirt and take off. Although mine does give quite good power before that too and feels nice and torquey Fitting new injectors is always a good idea on a car with that kind of millage. I replaced mine and it felt like i gained another 10 BHP. I paid around £100 all in with postage for all four from ebay. I think euro car parts may well sell them a bit cheaper but once you add on postage etc they may well end up being more. A damn good tune up and valve clearances should make it feel a lot perkier too. Obviously do the valve clearances before the tune. ineed to pull my finger out and do mine. |
