Member Posts: 137 Group: Members Member #4,275 Joined: June 13, 2009	Thanks for the reply Mazza.... Ive a docket here from Euro car parts from 1999. Car had 145k on it at the time. (172 at the moment, car has everyting, mots, receipts etc!) Intermediat gear, timing gear, crankshaft gear, d rail, sliding rail (timing case) were all done according to this docket. No docket for an actual chain but theres no chain noise from her anyways thank god! How would I go about checking valve clearences? She definetly aint 185bhp, shes dead enough to be honest. Ive heard IACV give trouble but these Ł278+ from MB... Yes must change those fluids. What grades should I use?? Who would be the best people to have a look at my injection system? Ordinary mechanic wouldnt really do much would they? I have a friend working in snap on diagnostics with all the gear. Might get him to have a look at it. Anymore advice??
