I had a set of 17's on my 190 once (with standard unlowered suspension) with 215/45 tyres and they rubbed slightly. On the rear around corners and on lumpy roads, and at the front when braking. I did my research and changing to 215/40 seemed to be the only option that would guarantee no rubbing. If you have rear mudflaps then remove them first as the clips that hold them in place against the arch seem to be the first place to rub the tyre. On the fronts the rubbing was the front corner of the arch. This can be padded out with washers underneath the arch as in the AMG kit that was available. Stu |
